Meet a few of the many happy people who have chosen to work with...the Neighborhood Real Estate Group:
"Some people think of real-estate agents as strictly salespeople. Ted was more of a consultant and trusted advisor during our home-buying adventure. He is quick to listen, slow to speak, and excellent at providing advice and direction. Ted helped us get into our “dream-home” and we’re confident he can do the same for you." - Neal & Christy Kennedy, Clackamas OR.
"We are a military family and didn't know any one in the local area. I found Irene online, during a property information request. Several months before we moved to Portland, Irene answered so many questions about the local area and schools - questions she had to research and really didn't have to answer. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and provided a lot of information. She sent houses for us to review and had houses set & up when we arrived. We've had several Realtors before, but none even come close to Irene. If you are looking for a Realtor - Irene should be your number #1 choice. Thank you for making our family feel at "home" and helping us find our home!" - Dave & Tracie Bennett, Portland OR

Buying Land and New Construction >How Easements Affect Your Land
It is extremely important to discover whether there are easements on undeveloped land you are thinking about buying. An easement is the legal right to use another person's land for a specific, acknowledged purpose. Easements can significantly affect your development and use of the property.
A typical easement might permit the use of a dirt fire road that cuts through both the neighbor's property and your land. The road provides access to both properties, and your neighbor has to drive through yours to get to his. The house you build has to be situated ten to fifteen feet away from this access road. If the road cuts through the middle of the lot, you might have difficulty finding room for the house you want to build.
Consult with your real estate agent, an attorney or a title researcher for accurate information about the easements. When making an offer on undeveloped land with an easement issue, be sure to include a contingency that you must approve of any existing easements, or the offer is null and void.
